Mr. William T. Blanford President 44 Bentham Parkway Amherst, NY 14226 716-839-5619 Term Ends: June 30, 2012 Bill Blanford and his wife Cheryl are both long-time residents of the Town of Amherst. They have lived in Snyder for the past 26 years. Their three sons have all attended Amherst schools. Mr. Blanford is a Vice President at M&T Bank where he has been employed since 1980. He is a 1975 graduate from the University of Notre Dame. Mr. Blanford has been a school board member since August 1999. He has served five terms as Board President since 2004 and is a member of the District’s Policy Sub-Committee.	Mr. William T. Blanford
Mr. David A. Stocking Vice-President 93 Lamarck Drive Amherst, NY 14226 716-839-5790 Term Ends: June 30, 2012 A 25 year resident of Amherst, David currently lives with his wife Christina and two of his four children, Joey and Jackson. Joey has completed his freshmen year at Geneseo College, and Jackson is an eighth grader at Amherst Middle School. His daughter Katie and son Stephen are recent graduates of the University of Buffalo, as well as Amherst High School. Mr. Stocking is currently Program Director for the Industrial Controls Division of Moog, Inc. During his 26 years at Moog, he has held management positions in Engineering and Operations, including an assignment at Moog’s facility in Cork, Ireland. David graduated from Clarkson University in 1978 where he received a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Stocking served as a school board trustee for two terms from 1993 to 1999, until leaving for his overseas work assignment. Following his return to Amherst, he subsequently served two additional terms between 2003 and 2009. For the past five years, he has held the office of Board Vice-President. In the past, David volunteered as a PTA Board liaison, and as a coach for Amherst Girls Soccer, Central Amherst Little League, and Amherst Hockey Association.	Mr. David A. Stocking
Ms. Jennifer Bayles Board Member 148 Roycroft Blvd. Amherst, NY 14226 716-839-3487 Term Ends: June 30, 2010 Jennifer Bayles has lived in the Buffalo area for twenty-five years. She and her husband, Rob Steinfeld, moved to Snyder thirteen years ago so that they could enroll their children in the Amherst Public Schools. Both of their sons will be attending Amherst High School in the 2009-10 school year. With a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and a Masters degree in art history and museum studies from the University of Michigan, Jennifer has worked at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery for twenty-five years serving as Curator of Education for eighteen years and as Educator for Special Projects for two years prior to assuming her current position as Grants Manager in the Development Department. Ms. Bayles has been an active and engaged Amherst parent volunteer for more than a decade serving on the Shared Leadership Teams at the Smallwood Drive School (2001-2004) and at Amherst High School (2006-2008), as a member of the 2004 Comprehensive District Educational Plan Committee, as a room parent and library volunteer at Smallwood (1998-2006), and as an active PTA member/volunteer serving most recently as Chairperson of the High School/Middle School PTSA Grant Committee (2006-08). Dr. Ann Marie Carosella Board Member 229 Berryman Dr. Amherst, NY 14226 716-835-1531 Term Ends: June 30, 2011 Dr. Carosella has her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Princeton University. She is currently a Co-Investigator on an NIH grant at the University of Buffalo, Department of Medicine. Ann Marie and her husband, Jeffrey Lachner, have lived in the district for 14 years. They are the parents of two children: Rachel (age 13) is a 8th grader at the Amherst Middle School and Benjamin (age 10) is in the 5th grade at Smallwood Drive School. Dr. Carosella has been on the Smallwood Leadership Team for five years. She is a Smallwood Reading Center volunteer (8 years) and is active in the Middle School and Smallwood PTA. Dr. Illana Lane Board Member 410 Callodine Ave. Amherst, NY 14226 716-835-6971 Term Ends: June 30, 2011 Dr. Illana Lane has been an educator for 19 years. She is an Associate Professor at Medaille College. She holds a Ph.D. in Education and she also has her MS.Ed. from SUNY at Buffalo and a B.A. from Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Lane is the Program Director for the Teacher Education Program at Medaille College, the Program Administrator for the School of Education, and a former elementary teacher. Dr. Lane, who is originally from East Hampton, NY, and her husband, Darrell, have been residents of the community for six years and are the parents of two children at Windermere Boulevard School, Darrell (age 9), Grade 4 and John (age 8), Grade 3. Dr. Lane has been on the Windermere Leadership Team (2 years), is a member of the Windermere PTA, and has served on the Pre-K Advisory Committee. She is also a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma (Alpha Lambda chapter), a professional organization of women educators, and is a conference presenter on educational issues. With a background in education, and a history of volunteer involvement, Dr. Lane is willing to serve.	Dr. Illana Lane
Mr. Paul Steimle Board Member 142 Woodbury Dr. Amherst, NY 14226 716-833-5323 Term Ends: June 30, 2012 Paul Steimle and his wife Amy are both long-time residents of the Town of Amherst and have lived in Snyder for the past 11 years. They have five children: Brittany, Tyler, Michael, Joseph and Isabel. Brittany and Tyler are both graduates of Amherst High School while Michael, Joseph and Isabel all currently attend Smallwood. Mr. Steimle has been President of MJI Consulting Group LLC, a real estate consulting firm, for the last 4½ years. Prior to this Mr. Steimle worked for the international accounting firm KPMG LLP where he was a Senior Manager in their State and Local Tax Consulting Group for 10 years. Mr. Steimle holds a B.S. degree in Finance and an MBA both from the University of Buffalo. Mr. Steimle is also a 2007 graduate of the University of Buffalo’s Center For Entrepreneurial Leadership program. In the past, Mr. Steimle has volunteered as Chairman of the Smallwood PTA Grants Committee and as a coach for Central Amherst Little League.	Mr. Paul Steimle
Mrs. JoEtte Zaccagnino Board Member 41 Westmoreland Road Amherst, NY 14226 716-833-1137 Term Ends: June 30, 2010 JoEtte Zaccagnino has been a resident of Amherst for most of her life. She and her husband Doug, both Amherst Alumni, have four children: Lisa, Douglas, Alex and Cori. Lisa ‘03 is now a graduate student at Canisius College. Douglas ‘07 is currently attending Utica College while Alex and Cori are sophomores at Amherst High School. Mrs. Zaccagnino has served on the PTA for 15 years. While at Windermere Boulevard School, she was VP for Family Life, VP of Ways & Means and Grade Level Chair. In addition, Mrs. Zaccagnino was elected to the Windermere Leadership Team where she helped initiate classroom looping. She was also instrumental in introducing a school-wide volunteer program. For her work at WBS, JoEtte was awarded the NYS PTA Honorary Life Membership. Mrs. Zaccagnino has continued her PTSA involvement at the Middle and High Schools. She has served as VP of Programs, Corresponding Secretary, and most recently, as PTSA Co-President. Plus, she has chaired numerous events at each school. For her ongoing PTSA involvement, Mrs. Zaccagnino was selected in 2006 to receive the NYS PTA Distinguished Service Award. JoEtte also volunteers in the community as a Children’s Mass lector for St. Joseph’s University Parish. She has been an elected delegate for The National Apostolate of Maronites and a sponsor for the Annual Canisius College Regents Scholarship Ball. Mrs. Zaccagnino currently works in her family business managing investments. She attended Rochester Institute of Technology and Fashion Institute of Technology and holds a Bachelor’s degree in marketing and economics.	Mrs. JoEtte Zaccagnino
